Your Trustee and any successor Trustee is the individual or organization responsible for the day-to-day management of the trust's financial assets. Duties can include investment, distribution and administration including an annual accounting and filing any required income tax returns. The pet trust trustee should be a trusted individual or organization whom you know well. It is recommended they have the management and fund distribution experience necessary to ensure the terms of your pet trust are carried out for the benefit of your pets.
